Advantage Point Learning was formed with the singular goal of providing excellence in the delivery of basic academic skills instruction. Put simply, we are the Pacific Northwest's leading provider of private educational services from pre-school through high school!
Company Background
Toward the end of the 1990’s, local exchange carrier telecommunications pioneer Todd Meislahn was researching the continuing nationwide decline in reading and math scores among school-aged children. He decided something needed to be done.
Mr. Meislahn began working with the founder of Sylvan Learning Systems™, the world’s largest tutoring company and later became President & CEO of KnowledgePoints™, a national tutoring franchise with over 100 locations. In January 2001, he founded Advantage Point Learning.
Today, Advantage Point Learning continues to make a huge, positive difference in the lives of hundreds of families each and every year, primarily through our after-school tutoring in public schools under the federal No Child Left Behind act.
