Discover our nation’s history while preparing to celebrate Independence Day. Readings this week will feature our founding fathers. Adventurers will enjoy the festivities of this summer holiday by organizing a mini parade and face painting.
Dino Days
Take a trip back in time. This Weekly Adventure takes us to a time where dinosaurs ruled the earth. Adventurers’ delights include making dinosaur footprints, clay casts, and creating our own fossils!
Fairy Tales and Nursery Rhymes
Join us as we venture off to never, never land. We will tickle the imaginations of young adventurer’s with tales of the fantasy world. Stories will come to life with dramatic play.
Me and My Family
Adventurers will celebrate all of the fantastic things that make us each unique and beautiful. We'll create "All About Me" books. Children will share stories and pictures of themselves and their families.
Island Luau
Dive in to this Weekly Adventure and explore the islands. We’ll learn about sea creatures and aquatic life, enjoy a game of beach bump ball, and practicing sorting skills with sea shells. Adventurers will enjoy their own luau complete with Hawaiian dress, leis, and island foods. The carefree beach life awaits.
All Around the World
Open up your world and go on a cultural exploration to exotic locations like China, Africa, and Mexico! Adventurers will learn about food, clothing, everyday life, and unique traditions from these amazing places.
Wild, Wild West
Welcome to the wild, wild west. Become a sheriff or an outlaw for the day. Try your hand at our cowboy/cowgirl lasso contest and even go searching for gold!
Flowers and Gardening
Plant the seed of joy as you embark on this Weekly Adventure. The beautiful botanical world comes to life as we learn about soil, plant life, and flowers. Each Adventurer will have their very own plant start to add to the family garden at the end of the week!
