SERVICES TO SCHOOL DISTRICTS

Horses
CLOSING THE GAP THROUGH "NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND"

Advantage Point Learning provides after-school tutoring services to public schools where help is needed to assist students who require individualized instruction. We continue to witness tremendous academic growth in the children who have attended our after-school tutoring programs in these public schools. Our highly focused, diagnostic, and prescriptive instruction works especially well for these students.

In order to help insure success, we work with school districts contemplating after-school tutoring programs as early as possible, in order to best meet the district’s objectives. This enables us to provide guidance and assistance as tutoring programs are being planned. Since we have been involved in this process for several years, please consider taking advantage of the following resources that we offer at no charge:

  • Guidance in preparing the school for after-school tutoring, in order to maximize student participation and attendance.
  • Specific plans for initial student assessments, progress reports, and completion assessments.
  • Suggestions for coordination with parents, teachers, counselors, and coaches to encourage attendance.
  • Ideas for community involvement to provide incentives.
  • A model Service Agreement to be used with SES providers, if needed.

We meet regularly with district personnel to discuss these and other ideas to make after-school tutoring as effective as possible. Let’s work together to close the achievement gap! Call Advantage Point Learning today to learn more about our services to public schools.
